(1) What’s your Name?

My names are Oyemike Princewill Chukwudi.Aka supaslim.

(2) For those hearing of you for the first time, how would you describe yourself as an artist?

I would describe My self as an artiste with a unique kind of music presentation. In the sense that My lyrics and delivery marks me out from other artistes.

(3) How long have you been involved in making Music?

I’ve been doing music for like 7 (seven) years now. Dats since I was 15.

(4) How did you get into Music? And what inspired you to take music seriously?

Don’t really know how I got into this music stuff, I just found myself doing it and people were like wow, you’re gud, keep it up and since then the passion grew and now I’m here full time. What always inspire me is My background, My past experiences and the bible.

(5) Where do you get Inspiration for your Music?

I get My inspiration from everywhere I go, asin things I see, experiences,movies I watch and books too.

(6) Are you signed to a record label?

Presently am a lone sponsored artiste with No record label yet, but hopefully soon by God’s grace.

(7) What is life like as an UpComing Artist?

As an upcoming act, life to me isn’t too fair, I must say but tomorrow always encourage me that there is always hope.

(8) Have you done an album yet? If no, have you got any project you’re working on at the moment?

I don’t have any album yet but I’ve gat 3 singles with several other collabos with other artistes. Yeah, am presently working on a project tagged “Discover Supaslim” its an awareness project on the brand “supaslim” as a music property.

(9) What is it about you that sets you apart from other artists?

My deep lyrics, God-given voice and awesome delivery stands me out.

(10) What has been the highlight of your career so far?

The highlight of my career was when I performed on the same platform with sean tizzle and oritse femi in benin-city UNIBEN which is my school presently. Mehn it was fun. Never knew what it felt like to be a supastar until that day and even afterwards in school.

(11) If you had to work with one person in the industry, who would it be and why?

I’ll love to work with cobhams asuquo. I love his works.

(12) Besides music, what other activities do you participate in?

Aside music, I do paintings and I dance

(13) Name 3 songs that we would expect to find on your iPod or Music Player

Hmmm 3 songs. Ordinary people by cobhams, dansaki by lara george and hold you down by DJ khaled.

(14) What are your biggest challenges?

My biggest challenge I’ll say is finance.

(15) Where do you see yourself five years from now?

In the next 5 years. I see myself among the A’list performing artistes in Nigeria and even africa with several awards won because I know what God has placed in me to deliver and I am well ready for it.

(16) What is your opinion of the current state of Nigerian music?

The state of Nigeria music is, fast growing, new artistes everyday. We’re really going places.

(17) Any plans to expand across Africa and the world?

Of course, I’ve gat plans to extend My music above the shores of african and to the world! Grammy must be won legitimately.

(18) What is the greatest thing about working in the music industry? And what would you change if you had the opportunity?

The greatest thing about working in the industry is the excitement and joy I derive in doing what I know how to do best there’s nothing really to change all we need is improvement and to embrace ourselves, not seeing each other as competitors but as colleagues.

(19) Throughout your career so far, what’s the best advice that someone has given you? And what advice would you give to fellow UpComing artists?

Hmmm biggest advice I’ll say is….from My father who happens to love music but doesn’t really like what he used to hear. He always advice me that I can change all this contentless songs and bring back the real value of music that is, bringing back the lost value of music. My advice to other upcoming act would be. Do good music and don’t imitate or just copy those that are therem try to be different.

(20) What do you think about what the “Alaba Hits” company is doing for all the upcoming artists, promoting their music?

Wow! AlabaHits has really given us hope for the future.people like some of us basically loose interest when we get discouraged but with alaba hits here with us. We can ONLY get better. I LOVE THIS PLATFORM.
