(1)  What’s your Name?

Ans: Enormoss.

(2)  For those hearing of you for the first time, how would you describe yourself as an artist?  

Ans: I am a hiphop artist. I’m Versatile and creative, suave with attitude to spare.

(3)  How long have you been involved in making Music?

Ans: 7 years. I recorded my first song in 2007.

(4)  How did you get into Music? And what inspired you to take music seriously?

Ans: I was inspired by nas in 2004, I wrote my first verse on stylplus’s “olufunmi” instrumentals same year. 2007 I took music seriously by recording my first song because my family and friends always wondered how I was so talented and hadn’t been to the studio.

(5)  Where do you get Inspiration for your Music?

Ans: First and foremost, I think all inspiration is from God, since God is everywhere then inspiration for me comes from anywhere, everywhere. I could be inspired from conversations from friends, the news, funny stuff that happened to me, hanging out with my peeps or it could come from a song or even a movie, a sermon. Sometimes I could be inspired by a beat I got from a producer.

(6)  Are you signed to a record label? 

Ans: No, though I am trying to start my own imprint (r.e.d. inc) and it’s still in its early stages.

(7)  What is life like as an UpComing Artist?

Ans: Challenging, full of expectations, could be exhausting when you do not get the love you deserve but every known artist passed through this phase so its aiight! I can handle it.

(8)  Have you done an album yet? If no, have you got any project you’re working on at the moment?

Ans: Recorded two mixtapes in the past, presently I have a song out titled invitation and I’m trying to shoot a video for the song. Pray for me (laughs)

(9)  What is it about you that sets you apart from other artists?

Ans: My ability to narrate the kind of picture I’m trying to paint when I write. My creative wordplays and punchlines are made so easy to communicate with everyone even when I make a party song.

(10) What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Ans: 2012 when I dropped a song titled “freestyle awoof” it got remarkable audience on radio such as beat fm, cool fm, rhythm and so on. Then the video dropped the same year and it got played on soundcity, nigezie, kennis tv and on-tv. The song gave me the opportunity to record a song with tillaman, titled “your kinda girl”.

(11) If you had to work with one person in the industry, who would it be and why?

Ans: Honestly it’s hard to choose one person, I think a mad hook from tuface would be mind blowing.

(12) Besides music, what other activities do you participate in?

Ans: Swimming for leisure, running my business on the side and brand strategizing.

(13) Name 3 songs that we would expect to find on your iPod or Music Player

Ans: 1) nas- one mic. 2) notorious b.i.g.- big poppa 3) burna boi- like to party.

(14) What are your biggest challenges?

Ans: Promoting a song.

(15) Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Ans: Well established in the music industry with recognition nationwide, Africa and beyond.

(16) What is your opinion of the current state of Nigerian music?

Ans: It has really grown and it keeps growing but it also lacks a structure like if you read how foreign countries do music and how we do it, there’s definitely a big loop hole there.

(17) Any plans to expand across Africa and the world?

Ans: Yes please, God willing

(18) What is the greatest thing about working in the music industry? And what would you change if you had the opportunity?


i-  Winning an award for the best artist of the year.

ii- I would change how the industry is been structured, align all forms of promotion, raise music label standards to avoid poorly written record deals, distribution and more opportunities for talented aspiring artists.

(19) Throughout your career so far, what’s the best advice that someone has given you? And what advice would you give to fellow UpComing artists? 

Ans: Be able to point out constructive criticism and as an artist, know that not everyone would love your song but it would do you good if a lot of people do.

(20) What do you think about what the “Alaba Hits” company is doing for all the upcoming artists, promoting their music?

Ans: Very good job, impressive I must say.
