ALABA HITS INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:

(1)  What’s your Name?

Ans: My Name is Michael Manuwa

(2)  For those hearing of you for the first time, how would you describe yourself as an artist?

Ans: I’m a new generation Hip-hop artiste with a rooted background in pop and other forms of Music production.

(3)  How long have you been involved in making Music?

Ans: I started music officially in 2010 but before I was discovered by klaplyne music in 2009, I had my first stage performance as a rapper in 2005.

(4)  How did you get into Music? And what inspired you to take music seriously?

Ans: I didn’t get into music, Music chose me. While growing up I never thought I’d take it seriously but as fate will have it I was introduced to beat making and sampling in 2007. Also, haven’t been in the scene for a while, Music production and song writing has become a second nature.

(5)  Where do you get Inspiration for your Music?

Ans: Like I said earlier, music chose me so I don’t force it. I write when I have a burden about a particular theme or as the spirit leads.

(6)  Are you signed to a record label?

Ans: Yes. Klaplyne Music, Finland & Pep Entertainment Management, Nigeria

(7)  What is life like as an UpComing Artist?

Ans: Motivating

(8)  Have you done an album yet? If no, have you got any project you’re working on at the moment?

Ans: Despite my huge portfolio of songs including those with featured artistes I haven’t released an official album yet but I have release two (2) E.Ps of about six (6) tracks each, titled: The Wednesday Massacre (2011) & The Altar Call (2011) respectively. I’m currently working on my album.

(18) What is the greatest thing about working in the music industry? And what would you change if you had the opportunity?

Ans: The greatest thing about working in the music industry is the competitive spirits I see in my colleagues and if I had my way I’d change our folk’s impression about entertainers in general. They see us as loafers and wasters which is very untrue. We artistes are one of the most hardworking people on planet earth.
