Howmon (Solomon Abey) is a rapper, producer and an Afro-soul singer, born on the 16th April 1987 in the ancient city of Ibadan, Nigeria. He kicked up His music career in 1998 where was involved in a lot of performances ranging from street music competitions to back-up vocalling for various music artistes in Nigeria. In 2005, Howmon emerged the winner of De-trap base music junkyard competition held at The Federal University of Technology, Akure Nigeria in 2005. He was the 2nd runner up at the ELI (Everybody Loves Iceprince) album launch competition in 2011. He participated in the Ryan Leslie valentine open beat event where he did a remix of “Good Girl” by Ryan Leslie, a song which experienced tremendous positive response from music lovers around the world. He’s working on His album “Soul Escalator”, a album that wouldn’t be a disappointment as He’s been busy at the background working with various artistes, producers and production outfits. Howmon, a graduate of Food science and Technology from The Federal University of Technology, Akure Nigeria, is passionate about music as a career and He’s not willing to leave any stone unturned, He’s been working hard to get there and the stage is opened, with the mindset that “no limit to achievables”. His first music debut titled Yinbo was recorded in 2005, a song produced by “Beat monk”, a political song though recorded great success and it boost his Soul Singing ego to doing more of such.
